Review The book was interesting, it gave an insight into Darcy's life, ring battles and Australia's involvement in the first world war, and the good rasons behind Darcy not serving his country. However, I found the book a bit breif, as Darcy was primarily known for being a great boxer I expected his fights to be covered in greater detail than they were, overall many of his fights were skimmed over or just mentioned breifly. Although it gave other aspects of his life and death great attention, as it was a book about a boxer I wanted to read more about his boxing. Worth a read, but not as good as it could be. An Australian Legend.
